Athletes at the Next Level

Foundation Academy Athletics is proud that many of our athletes go on to play at the collegiate level. We take pride in our efforts to prepare all of our student-athletes for the next level. From reinforcing and mastering the fundamentals, fostering a team mentality, to helping them find their identity in Christ.

Foundation Academy Athletics are building quality people through attention to detail one day at a time.

Michael Lemieux-Bott

Michael Lemieux-Bott was a four-year starter at FA, linebacker, and tight end. Mike was selected as a first-team linebacker to the 2019 Florida Athletic Coaches Association District 11 Orange and Osceola County Team. He had the third all-time in tackles at Foundation Academy behind Evan Thompson and Riley Thomas.

Austad

Henry Austad

Henry Austad was selected for first-team All-State quarterback 2018 and 2019, as well as the first-team Florida Athletic Coaches Association 2018 and 2019. Austad led FA to back to back regional championships. He was a three-year starter, Senior captain, and Most Valuable Offensive Player 2019 at the Central Florida All-Star Game. His school record was 2817 passing in his 2019 FA Career, passing former leader with 6023. He had 29 passing touchdowns in 2019 and is the FA career leader in touchdowns.

Next Level Daniels

Seth Daniels

Seth Daniels transferred his senior year to Foundation Academy. Seth had a 4.4 speed and lockdown defensive back, he also played receiver at FA. Seth was named to the first-team Florida Coaches Association District 11 as an offensive athlete. As well as honorable mention All-State receiver 2019. Seth had 656 yards receiving and 6 touchdowns in 2019. 

Kime

Maria Kime

Maria Kime was a varsity co-captain on the cheerleading team at Foundation Academy. She is now attending Asbury University, continuing her sports career as a cheerleader.

Johns Andrew 2019

Andrew Johns

Andrew Johns currently attends Liberty University, where he plays long snapper. Andrew Johns was a four-year starter for the Lions and 2-year captain while at Foundation Academy. As a Junior, he made the all-state first team as a long snapper, and as a senior, he made the all-state first team at defensive end. Andrew started at linebacker in the Cure Bowl and Shriners all-star game. As a redshirt freshman, Andrew dressed the Cure Bowl here in Orlando, where Liberty defeated Georgia Southern.

Next Level Sapp

Warren Sapp

Warren Sapp was a three-year starter and senior captain while at Foundation Academy.  He led the state in sacks his senior season with 24 and is the all-time sack leader with 46.  He and his teammate Andrew Johns both tied with 5 sacks in a game vs. Northside Christian. Warren was named first-team for the all-state 2017 and 2018 season. He also was named to the Florida Athletic Coaches Association’s first-team defense for the 2017-2018 season. Warren started at defensive end in the Central Florida all-star game. Last year as a redshirt freshman Warren was a part of the FAU victory over SMU in the Boca Raton bowl in 2019.

Next Level Fragoso

Joey Fragoso

Joey Fragoso was a two-year starter for Foundation Academy where he played defensive back and wide receiver. He had 2 interceptions his senior year and was a big-time hitter on both sides of the ball. He participated in second-team all-county as a senior and Shriners all-star. He currently attends Clarke University, where he is playing football.

Next Level Fitzpatrick

Ian Fitzpatrick

Ian Fitzpatrick is a Sophomore at Lewis University, an NCAA Division II school. Ian is currently a member of their Men’s Golf Team.

Next Level Parker

Dylan Parker

Dylan Parker was a senior transfer in 2018. Parker made first-team all-county. He had 16 pancake blocks as a senior. Dylan also started in the Shriners all-star game.

Next Level Lance

Lance Axson

Lance and his brother Lester Axson had careers at Foundation that mirrored each other. Both brothers were lockdown defensive backs and had multiple division 1 offers. Lester was a senior on the 2016 regional finals team. That year Lester was named both to the first-team all-state team at and the first team Florida Athletic Coaches Association team at defensive back. In 2017 brother Lance duplicated his brother’s accomplishments. Both Lester and Lance are now playing for Campbell University.

Next Level Birk 3

Luke Birk

Luke was a two-year starter and captain while attending Foundation Academy. Luke was a first-team all-state safety his senior year and a slot receiver. Luke also was first-team Florida Athletic Coaches Association at defensive back. Birk tied with Cory Rahman and Grayson Wagner for most career interceptions while at FA.

Next Level Carson

Connor Carson

Connor was a two-year starter in the offensive line, and all County player his senior year. Connor is attending Grinnell College where he has played every position in the offensive line. He was honorable mention all-county his senior year and started in the Shriners all-star game.

Next Level Loos

Eddie Loos

Eddie Loos was a 4-year starter on both sides of the ball while at FA. Loos was named to the All-State team for the offensive and defensive line in 2016 and 2017. Eddie was also named as a first-team lineman in 2016, and 2017 for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association. He was a starting defensive lineman in the 2017 Central Florida All-Star Game. Eddie is now playing for the Morehead State football team.

Next Level Evan

Evan Thompson

Evan was a four-year starter at Foundation Academy. Evan was a first-team all-state linebacker his senior year as well as a first-team Florida Athletic Coaches Association selection at linebacker. He started his freshman season at Florida Tech. Evan was third in all-time tackles at FA and second in season tackles. He was first in creating turnovers and played both sides of the ball. Evan had a single-season record of the longest interception return for a touchdown 102 yards vs Trinity Christian in the regional semi-final. Evan was the 2015 Orlando Touchdown Club Player Of The Week recipient. He is currently playing golf at FIT.

Next Level Rahman

Cory Rahman

Cory Rahman transferred to FA as a junior. Rahman has tied for career interceptions at FA with Luke Birk and Grayson Wagner. Cory was a first-team all-state safety in 2016 and a first-team Florida Athletic Coaches Association for 2016 at safety. Cory Rahman is currently playing for Southeastern University.

Next Level Lester
